The Rabbit Hole Designs has their one year birthday this January, so they are celebrating a little early with this release!  I just love birthdays!  So much fun!  Here's my first project to share with you:

I used THREE new products on this card!  Eeeeekkkkk!!!! The first is the new and totally amazing "Drop It Stencil."  It totally reminds me of a game of Tetris from way back in the day.... right?  I used a variety of Pink Distress Oxide inks on my Sweet Sentiment Coloring paper to create this fun, fast, and simple background.

Second: I used the new "Scripty Happy Birthday" stamp.  I fussy cut the letters by hand because I wanted them cut close.  They are stamped in Momento Tuxedo Black ink on my Sweet Sentiment coloring paper.

Third: I used the awesome "Sassy Birthday" stamp set.  OMG, this set has sooooo much sass it's AWESOME!  It's going to be my "go-to" for MANY birthday cards in the future.

So, now that you've read all that.... heres some info on PRIZES!!! Day 3 of releases from The Rabbit Hole Designs

Ok, so today is day 3 and I'm here to show you three more projects!  Yeah 3!

First of all I want to show you the awesome new stencils that were released..... check these out!

How awesome are these????? I love them.  They are called "circle Illusion" and "Square Illusion" and they are wicked fun to work with.  I just sprayed them with my trusty Pixie Spray and laid them down on Sweet Sentiment Paper and went to town with my Oxide Inks! I added sentiments from the NEW "Anti-Valentines Day" stamp set that was also part of this release as well! I love the snark!

Ok, the last card I'm going to be showing you today is this one:

This stamp set is called "Put a Bow on It" and I saw it and immediately wanted to color a whole rainbow of ribbons!!!! It was a lot of fun to color this and I can see myself using it a lot more in the future.  It also comes with he sentiments "Hope" and "Love" in a pretty scripty font, so I used the word love and some clear embossing powder (for the very first time) to make the background.  I added another bow, because... well, YEAH!!!! Ha ha ha!

So, this is a blog hope people, and blog hops mean prizes.... so here's the deets:

I'm back with day two of the amazing release from The Rabbit Hole Designs!  This stamp is so stinking cute that I cannot even explain it... so here's the card.

I stamped these cute kids on Sweet Sentiment paper with Momento Desert Sand ink and colored them up with my Copic Markers.  Then..... well, then I got to work.....making a little forest scene for them to be dancing in! hahahaha! I think I told a little bit of a story with them.  I hope you love them dancing away to the sounds of the forest here.  Of course I added a bunch of flowers!  That's sort of my M.O.

OH WAIT!!!! There's PRIZES!!!!

Meet me back here tomorrow for some bun stenciled cards!  Toodles!!!

More than doughnuts!

It takes a lot for me to love someone more than doughnuts.... but I'm pretty sure this stamp is the perfect example of that.

This adorable little squirrel is so happy to have this tiny doughnut and tell you just how much he loves it and you.  Gosh he just makes me smile!  I adore him.

I stamped him with Momento desert sand ink onto Sweet Sentiment Card Stock and colored him up with copic markers. I Thun used a bunch of papers from Doodlebug (the Cream and sugar set) and I made flowers using Heartfelt creations stamps and dies (these are oak berry lane flowers I believe).

Thank you all for stoping by, you can purchase this stamp here: https://www.therabbitholedesigns.com/product-page/more-than-donuts-4x4

Deck the Halls!

Hey there Sweeties!

Today I'm coming at you with a fresh take on a set released this month from The Rabbit Hole Designs.  I've used this set before, but I love figuring out new ways to use my stamps.  I used the "Love You More" set, but I left off some of the image..... here, take a look:

So I used the image where the little people are decorating the tree.... but I didn't ink up the tree when I stamped the image...

I then built a little scene around them.  I imagined them on their front stoop, in need of a ladder, but trying to make things work anyways.  I can totally identify with this girl though, I always want to decorate all the things!

I started by stamping the image on Sweet Sentiment Coloring Paper using Momento Desert Sand ink.  I then colored it up using my Copic markers.  I placed it on top of DSP from Graphic 45 (A Christmas Carol).  I added some "ribbon" from Tim Holtz and a button from Dress it Up Buttons.  I also added a few flowers from my stash, I believe all of these are from Wild Orchid Crafts, but don't quote me on that.  I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of paper with Versamark ink and embossed it with Wow Embossing powder in Super Fine Black.

Here are the Copic colors I used:
Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000, R20
Girls Hair: BV29, BV25, BV23, BV20, BV000
Boys Hair: E79, E77, E74, E71, E70
Jeans: B99, B97, B95, B93, B91
Girls Shirt: E19, E07, R17, R05, R02
Boys Shirt: G29, G19, G07, G05, G03
Shoes: W5, W3
Star: YR24, Y26, Y15, Y11, Y00
Door: YG99, YG97, YG95, YG93, YG91
Bricks: E07, E15, R02, E43, E50, W0
Wood Trim: E57, E23, E55
Cement: C4, C2, C0, C00
Window: B000, 0
Railing: 100
Lights: YG97, B28, R27, Y06, G14
Trees: G99, G19, YG95, G24, G82
Black Multiliner .03, White Jelly Roll Pen, Silver UniBall Pen

Well I hope this inspires you to look at your stamps in a different light and use them in many different ways!  Hope you all have an awesome holiday!

Toodles!

A Hipster Holiday to you!

Well hello there Sweeties!

Today I'm sharing with you all the card I made to go along with the new Sweet Sentiment Challenge posted in the Facebook Group.  The challenge this month is a color palette!  I love these type of challenges because they give me just enough directions to get the creative juices flowing, but they don't hamper my freedom to make any sort of project I want to.  So, here's a look at the color palette.

I loved these colors together as soon as I saw them!  The cool grays and the warm earth tones and that red is just....... swoon.  So, here's what I made:

Copic Markers Used:
E49, E59, E18, E09, E13
R59, R37, R46, R35, R12
E44, Y28, E84, E42, E51
T8, T6, T4, T2, T0
100, C9, C7, C5, C3
0 Colorless Blender, Black Multiliner, Gold Gel Pen, Silver Gel Pen
Glossy Accents, Nuvo Drops; Autumn Red
Distress Oxide Inks: Antique Linen, Brushed Corduroy, Ground Espresso

The Hipster Santa Image is a new stamp from CC Designs and I seriously adore him!  He's super fun to color as well, not a lot of fun to fussy cut, but hey, I'm one of THOSE people.

I hope that you love this project as much as I do, and I hope that you play along in this month's Sweet Sentiment Challenge!  You have until December 9th to enter your project into the album!  I cannot wait to see what you make!  Have a "hip" holiday! Toodles!

His expression just cracks me up so much!  I mean, LOOK at him!  I decided to make him into a Christmas card by coloring heavy on the red and green and changing his sentiment a bit.  I used the script font from the "Love You More" set.  I'm still giggling at this silly pup.

Make sure you come back tomorrow to see Michelle Bala sharing more Caffeinated Critters. Make sure you also head over to CLC Fall/Winter Blog Hop to link up to win some awesome prizes. The hop goes through November 8th.

Day Three of TRHD release!

Ok, so you've made it to the last post I have for the Rabbit Hole Designs Release!  Woohooo!!!! Thank you so much for being a part of this new and exciting chapter in my life.  Here's the last project I have (for this release).

Remember yesterday how I said that I LOVED TRHD stencils!  Well.... here's yet another one to love:
This is called "Light me up stencil" and can be purchased here!  I love love love love love that it is strings of lights in different sizes and that it also has snowflakes!  I mean, all my Christmas decorating is right here on one stencil!!! Kudos to TRHD for this one!

So, I stenciled up the side of a piece of Sweet Sentiment paper and then had NO CLUE what to do wit it!  I love the stencil, but ..... crap, what am I going to do????? OH WAIT!  I pulled out the silly Caffeinated Reindeer from TRHD and colored him up using Sweet Sentiment Paper and Copic markers. I fussy cut him out and thought.... well it still needs more.  So, I pulled out the Glossy Accents and made the lights glossy.... and then it hit me.... the Coffee Molecule on the stamp set would make PERFECT snowflakes.  so I stamped and embossed the molecule all over the back with iridescent embossing powder.  Then I used a few foam squares to pop the reindeer up, and BOOM! Christmas card perfection! Hahahahaha.... I can't help it, you all know how much I love my coffee!

I hope this little card inspires you today and maybe you'll be so inspired you make a card of your own.  Thank you all for hanging out with my the last three days and for commenting on my blog.  It really does mean the world to me!  Hope you all have an awesome week.  See you soon! Toodles!

TRHD New release day 2

Well, it's nice to see you back here for day 2 of The Rabbit Hole Designs new release.  Up next we have a super silly Christmas PIG!!!! Yup, you totally read that right, a PIG!!!!!

How can you not chuckle when you see this little piggy skiing in his Santa suit?!?!!?! This is a 3x4" stamp set and i's called "Merry Pigmas."  You can purchase him by clicking on this link: Merry Pigmas.

I began by coloring him up using my Copic Markers and fussy cutting him out using my Cutter Bee Scissors.  Then I had literally no idea what to do with him.  So, I grabbed a couple of extra die cuts that I had literally just lying on my desk (for like 2 months) and used some Distress Oxide Ink to add a pop of green around the edges.  I then used the awesome Candy Swirl Stencil from TRHD (seriously love Rabbit Hole Stencils, they ROCK!) and a gradient of red Distress Oxide Inks on Sweet Sentiment Paper.  I trimmed everything to fit on my card (5.5"x5.5") and finished it off with a black ribbon from good 'ol Hobby Lobby.

So, I hope that I've inspired you to get this silly pig.  He really does make fun and silly Christmas cards.  I mean, how many times have you gotten a card with a skiing pig dress up as Santa on it?  Yup, I rest my case. LOL!!!

See y'all back here tomorrow for day three of the release.  Have a wonderful day. Toodles!!!

TRHD New release day 1

Well, hello there, I see you've hopped over here to see the new release from The Rabbit Hole Designs.  Well, welcome!

I'm here to show you my new cards from he release and hopefully inspire you to go purchase those awesome stamps and get to crafting!  Here's the first set....
This set is called "Love you more - Christmas frost, and is available In the shop through this link:

Oh my gosh you guys!!!! This set is soooo stinking cute!  I mean, how can you even resist this?  It makes some adorable and even quick Christmas or Holiday cards for pretty much anyone you can think of.  My first card was made using the little couple decorating the Christmas tree.... here ya go:
I created a little scene for them.  it just felt like they were standing in their living room (with their posh wallpaper) trying to get that star on top of the tree.  I'm thinking they are newlyweds and that is why they do not have simple things like... ohhh.... a stepladder or window coverings..... hahahah!
(This image was colored with Copic markers on Sweet Sentiment coloring paper. The DSP is from Doodlebug designs and the Ribbon is from the Craft Warehouse.)

The second card I modified the stamp a little bit for, here, take a look:
I stamped the one where the couple is shopping, but I didn't ink up the little guy, just the girl.  I figured she was off Christmas shopping and in serious need of a coffee.... but she spent all of her money on gifts.  Such a bummer.  So now, she's wondering how to get a coffee.... the sentiment was also modified to read "all I want for Christmas is Coffee." Sounds legit to me.  I'd be stoked if I got a bunch of coffee gift cards for Christmas, "it's the gift that keeps on giving, Clark, the whole year through." (name that movie!!!)
(This image was colored using Copic markers on Sweet Sentiment coloring paper. The DSP is from Unity Stamp Company.  Wow! Embossing Powder was used for the sentiment along with a white and silver Jelly Roll pen for accents.  Tonic Studio Nuvo drops were also used for the corner accents.)

Thank you all for stopping by, I hope I made you smile and I hope that I gave you a little spark of inspiration on how to use these stamps.  Thanks so much! Hugs to you all and see ya back here tomorrow for more new stuff!  Toodles!!!

Peace out People!

So, here I am trying to get back into the swing of things with this awesome Image from Scrappers Delights!  I love the Anime characters as they are sooooo detailed and so expressive.  They are just a lot of fun to color and they host a lot of personality.

I colored this girl up on Sweet Sentiment Coloring Paper using my Copic Markers in the following colors:
Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000 and R20 for her cheeks and eyeshadow
Hair: E49, E18, E39, E17, E13
Dress: V99, RV66, RV55, RV17, RV52
Eyes: YG99, G16, G000 and the black Multiliner from Copic in .05

The paper I used is from Unity stamps in their new paper line, which I'm so excited about.  It's glossy like a photo and oh so beautiful, it's totally what inspired the colors for this card.  The length of Satin Ribbon was sent to me from my friend, Margarita, and I tend to use it sparingly because I want to hoard it forever.  Seeing as it was the PERFECT shade for this card though, I just had to include it!  The sentiment I added is from Altenew.

THanks so much for stopping by today, Please leave a comment, you never know when I'm going to choose someone to randomly win a prize!

Toodles!

Teen Detectives...Zoinks!

Have you all seen the new "Teen Detectives" boxed set from Kindred Stamps??? OMG it's just so cute!  SO, I sat down today and got to work with this set!  The box comes with the full stamp set, A tie dye stencil, a paper pack, sequins, glow in the dark glitter, a button and a sheet of planner stickers! OMG I'm so in love with this set! Here's the first card I made.

Here's a view from the side so you can see that one teen is popped up more than the others so it looks like she's standing in front of them! So fun!
Missing the other two from this iconic group?  They are waiting inside the card for you!

I used a different sentiment from the set as well and a second set of the teen detectives for a second card. Yeah, I know, I may have gone a little crazy here.  hehehehe

The stencil for this background was one I purchased from The Rabbit Hole Designs, but I thought it went perfect with these teens!
Here's the last card I made today.
I used the tie dye stencil to make this background, then I added the Liquid Pixie Dust from Ink on Three to the entire background and then sprinkled white paint over the top of it.  So much fun!

The Mistress of the Dead

Quite the ominous title huh?  Well, that's the name of the newest digital image from Annie Rodrigue over at Moonlight Whispers.  Just check out this creepy lady.....
I'll admit that this image was a challenge to color.  But a lot of that had to do with the fact that I chose to color her using the "no lines" technique.  I'm a glutton for punishment like that.

I used two Authentique paper pads to make this card.  Nightfall and Romance.  Yeah, they do not sound like they go together at all, but I think, given the subject matter of this card, they worked out just perfectly.  I also created a couple of flowers using the Sweet Peony stamp and die set from Heartfelt Creations, and paired them with some flowers I had from Wild Orchid Crafts. I accented with Distress oxide ink in Candied Apple, a black satin ribbon, and Nuvo drops.

Copic Markers used:
Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000, R20, FYG1, YG0000
Hair: T9, T7, T5, T3, T1, Jelly Roll silver glitter pen
Eyes: YG0000, E37, YG99, C2, 0 colorless blender
Dress: BV25, BV34, BV13, BV23, BV01
Chair: YG99, YG97, YG95, YG93, YG91, E37, E34, E31, E30
Skulls: W3, W1, W00, Y08, FYG1, YG0000
Walls: C3, C1, C00
Carpet: R89, R39, R29, R24, R14

Hope you all enjoyed today's post, and I hope to see you all back here agin soon! Toodles!

Hello Mummy!

Anyone who knows me, knows that I'm obsessed with Egyptian mythology and history.  I just love all the tales that they wove and the vibrant and mysterious culture that they thrived in.  So, when given the choice to pick any image int he shop to participate in the Scrapper's Delights Blog Challenge.... well.... naturally I chose this awesome Mummy!!!!!!

I colored her up using my Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils on Sweet Sentiment Premium Coloring Paper.  I also made the flowers by hand using Heartfelt Creations Sweet Peony and Sunflower stamps and dies.  The flowers are tinted with Distress Oxide inks, as well as the background for the Mummy. The papers are just random scraps I had in my HUGE scrap tub, and the ribbon was from he dollar store.

I had so much fun coloring this awesome Mummy Digi..... I mean, how fun.  I will admit that the sentiment is from the "Egypt" set from Kindred Stamps.

I do believe you all should join in the challenge and check out the Blog over at Scrapper's Delights! Here's the link: https://www.scrappersdelights.co.uk/challenge-blog?fbclid=IwAR217R-ILa_jFIMJpj92N6KvXyWXs_eUkQSolbcdvZWQb-jtfcgYHuOGYfE#/  (holy long link batman!)

Hope you all enjoyed this mummy card, I'll see you all soon!  Tootles!

A whole bunch of cuteness from Scrappers Delights!

Today I have a little something for everyone from the newest release at Scrappers Delights.  I've been busy making some of the cutest cards ever!!!!!!

First up to bat is.... well, this adorable little batter!!!
I colored her up using my copic markers.  And placed her on a very simply laid out card using Doodlebug papers, some Nuvo drops, and a length of sheer ribbon.

Next up is a girl after my own heart..... she's STUCK in an airport waiting for her flight.  If any of you follow my group on Facebook you know exactly how close to home this image hits!

Again, I used my copic markers to color this sweet girl up.  She's doing exactly what I did when I was stuck last time, drinking coffee and reading a book, trying to keep a smile on her face.  I used papers from the brand new Doodlebug I <3 travel paper pad, some Nuvo drops, and a length of satin ribbon to bring this card together.  I also used Distress Oxide Ink in Vintage Photo and a sponge to add some light tan around the edges of all the papers.

Third, is the one I think is my most favorite of them all.... and the subject of my September Sweet Sentiment coloring class.  I present to you: Marigold!

This sweet little girl I think is super excited to go back to school!  Look at all of those amazing ringlets and that adorable little summer dress!  I colored her with my trusty copic markers and placed her on papers from the ned Doodlebug Back to School paper pad.  I also used flowers that I made bu hand using the sets from Heartfelt Creations.  I finished it off with a length of sheer black ribbon and a bunch of glitter all over those flowers!

I really hope you loved everything you saw here today.  If you'd like to purchase any fo these Digis you can get them from https://www.scrappersdelights.co.uk/#/
and if you're interested in the Sweet sentiment classes, simply scroll to the top of this page and then click on the "Classes" tab.

Hope you all have a wonderful Weekend! Tootles!

Ok, we good now?

Well, this image was the feature image (from Scrappers Delights) for the Sweet Sentiment 1000 member party last week, and I think it's just so fun!!!! I love this little "trash panda"and the expression on his face.  I actually made this card for the brand new sketch challenge that is being released today in the Sweet Sentiment Facebook Group!

And here's the inside:

Yeah..... I know what you did!  But I get it, Klondike bars are delicious!!! hahahaha My favorite is the Mint one..... oh man, so much yum!  Anyways.... the image is from Scrappers delights and you can grab it in digital form in their store by clicking here. I colored her up with my copic markers which I will list below.

I like flowers

I"m sure it's not any surprise to any of you all that I'm totally into flowers on my cards.  Like, I sorta LOVE them.  A LOT! hhahaahaha! So much so, that I decided to invest a lot of money to buy dies and stamps to make my own flowers!  I enjoy it so much that I now find myself creating cards around my flowers.

When I was blessed with this new image from Moonlight Whispers by Annie Rodrigue, I KNEW I was going to go heavy on the florals. It just HAD to be done!  So...... here we go!

I began the process by stamping the flowers onto Sweet Sentiment Coloring Paper along with printing the Digital Image on the coloring paper.  I then used the coordinating dies from Heartfelt creations to cut out the flowers.  I used Distress Oxide inks to match the Graphic 45 papers I planned on using. I hand formed the flowers and then dipped them in clear glitter (of course). I colored the image with my trusty Copic markers.
Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000, R20, G00
Hair: E29, E27, E25, E23, E31
Eyes: E57, E23, E31, G000, C2
Headband: RV69, RV66, RV17, RV55, RV02
Shirt: YG99, YG97, YG95, YG93, YG91
Pants: 100, N9, N7, N5
Banner: E53, E51, E50
0 Colorless Blender
After coloring and fussy cutting the main image, I used the sketch from Sweet Sentiment July Sketch Challenge to create the layout for the card.  I matted everything with black card stock, and distressed all the edges of the papers with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink and a sponge. I tied the organza black bow on before I glued everything down.  Then.... well you all know what happened then.... I added flowers!!!!1 Lots and lots of flowers!

I hope that you check out all the new images from Moonlight Whispers by Annie Rodrigue. She is my absolute favorite artist ever and I know that one day I'm going to meet her..... it's on my bucket list! hahahaha!  I also hope you all join in the Sketch Challenge from Sweet Sentiment this month!  Have a wonderful week!  Tootles!

A delight of a card!

Ok, so don't mind my pun in the title.... but I have a card for you all to see featuring a new image from Scrappers Delights!

I adore these anime style images, I'm not sure why, but they have always spoken to me!  I love the style and how fun they are, and plus, they lend themselves to bright colors and bold backgrounds.  You all know, that's my jam!  So, here's my card:

The background is simply made with a rainbow of Distress Oxide inks layered on top of one another and blended to make a soft transition.  After that I spritzed it with water and dabbed it with a paper towel.  Then I fussy cut the image out after printing and coloring it on Sweet Sentiment Coloring paper with Copic markers.  I added a sentiment and a few Nuvo drops for texture.

I really had a lot of fun creating this card, and I can't wait to give it to a friend!  Hope you have an awesome week and I'll see ya all soon! Tootles!

A card for a friend

Good morning everyone.  I thought I'd sit down at my craft desk yesterday and just let my markers tell me what to do.  So, this is what I came up with...... WARNING: sappy post ahead.

I've ordered a few stamp sets lately because I had a particular card I wanted to create.  I wanted to do a floral card, but something a little "different."  We all know that florals are NOT in my "normal" go to pile of images.  I also saw this set of an ASL alphabet from Altenew, and I just KNEW that I NEEDED it to make a card for a special friend.  Here's my card:

I went for a "thank you" card as my wonderful friend, Becky, has taken my under her wing and taught me so very much this past few months.  We have become close friends and she makes me be a better person, but one that still oozes with snark. Lol!  We share a coffee addiction that only one another would understand, and we are creative and crafty in totally opposite ways.  I color, she makes EVERYTHING else! hahaha!

I spent some time fussy cutting these beautiful flowers because I absolutely could NOT hand Becky a flat card..... GASP! Oh, the horror! I employed quite a few 3D foam adhesive squares to make sure that there was at least a little dimension on this card.

Copic Markers Used: YG99, YG97, YG95, YG93, YG91
V99, RV69, RV66, RV19, RV25, RV13
Y08, BV29, By25, BV23, 0 Colorless Blender

I began the process by stamping the image on Sweet Sentiment Coloring Paper using Momento London Fog ink.  I then colored the image using my Copic Markers.  I put my Cutter Bee paper snips to work fussy cutting around the image.  I used a 5.5" x 5.5" piece of Sweet Sentiment Coloring Paper and Distress oxide inks in Wild Honey, Fossilized Amber, and Scattered Straw to create the background.  I then tied a length of bakers twine in gray and white around the background and adhered it to a card base of the same size.  I adhered the poppies using foam square adhesives.  Then I used the ASL Love set from Altenew to create the sentiment.  Again I stamped it in Momento London Fog onto Sweet Sentiment Coloring Paper, then I took my Copic Multiliner in 0.03 and traced around the hands to highlight them a bit more.  I cut the words into banners and adhered them the same way as the poppies.

Now, I'm going to fill this card with kind words, and really throw her for a loop! Lol.  I Love how this card came out. It's so far out of my "norm" and it was so much fun to just create something with no pressure.  I really had NO IDEA how this card would turn out when I sat down at my desk.  Just goes to show you that "sometimes no plan is the best plan."

Thanks everyone for reading.  Hope you all have a wonderful week!  See you soon! Tootles!

Moonlight Whispers Beachy Release

Today is going to be a great day.  Why? Well let me tell you why....
There's a new release from Moonlight Whispers!!!!!!

Yeah, I'm just slightly excited. Annie Rodrigue is a good friend and, like, my favorite artist EVER!!!!! I just adore her and her artwork!  So, let me stop fangirling and show you the new images.

First up is an image you may have seen before, as it's appeared on her facebook page in the past. But, she's decided to make it into a digital stamp for all of us! Here it is:
I love creating dimension on cards, so I may have gotten a little carried away with the foam squares.

Ok, so the process: First I got out a piece of Sweet Sentiment coloring paper and printed this awesome digi up.  I printed her at an opacity at 20% because I love creating that "no lines" look to my coloring.  Once I completed the coloring, I fussy cut her..... forever..... and ever..... ok, so it wasn't THAT bad.  But it did take a little bit to get into all the little tight spaces that the chair creates. I added some Glossy accents to her sunglasses and to her beverage glass, and I used some Nuvo drops on her necklace and sat her aside to dry.  I then used a piece of watercolor paper to create a Distress Oxide ink background.  The Inks used are Festive Berries, Worn Lipstick, and Scattered Straw. I got out some of my Doodlebug die cuts to see what worked with the image, and I tied a bow with this amazing organza ribbon that was sent to me from a friend in England.

Drink: BG18, BG49, BG45, Bg10, R85, R83, R81

Next up is a super fun little image of a kid.... well, being a kid!
I decided to color a background on this one because I felt like it really needed more of a story.  I added the cloudy sky and the turquoise water and some mountains far off in the distance.  I was imagining this family to be on a bit of a holiday enjoying the beach. This little rascal is dumping a pail of sand on her Dad's (or big brother's) head! I used some papers from the Beach Days 6x6 paper pad from Echo Park and some red card stock from The Paper Studio.

And, last, but certainly not least... I think this is my favorite image of this release!  I have to say it just makes me smile! Hopefully it makes you smile too!
That little pup just being playful, and that look on her face! Ha ha ha! Just so adorable! Again I colored her up on Sweet Sentiment Coloring Paper, and again she was printed at 20% opacity.  I added a scene to the image because I wanted to tell a little story with this.  The girl was walking by, all calm on the empty beach, enjoying her day, when out from behind this palm tree her little pup pops out and wants to play!  After coloring, I raided my ribbon stash and found this crazy bright pink ribbon and tied it around the image.  I also used some DSP from Doodlebug Designs (because I'm an addict) and added some of their sprinkles as well.  Then I went for the flowers!  I raided my flower stash and found this huge teal flower from Magnolia, and a handful of tiny roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. I don't know if you can see it, but at the top of the flowers is a cute "Bubble" button from Dress it Up!
