Kinda Cute

Hey there friends!  Well, I've decided to take a test run with a DT that is... well... Kinda Cute!

Patricia draws and sells these simple and cute digital Images and has also signed on to be a class sponsor with Sweet Sentiment!  You can look forward to that in just a couple of short months! Hooray!

So, as my very first DT project I decided to color her Digital Image that is called "Yoga Instructor" and add it to my Bullet Journal as a way of tracking and being cognoscente of the things that make me happy.  Here's some photos:

This was an awesome addition to my journal as it ended up being exactly opposite another Image I used from the same company! I used the "Unicorn with Cotton Candy" image to remind me that I need to stop shoving sugar into my face and I need to workout! lol! Here; take a look!

Well, I must go make some more coffee, and color (notice I didn't say I was going to do any cardio???). I hope you all have a wonderful week! Thanks for stopp…

Is it Spring yet?

Hey all, I'm here today to inform you that I have accepted a position on the Paper Nest Dolls DT.  I know, I know, I know.... I said that I wasn't going to take a DT position with all of the Sweet Sentiment coloring classes and such going on..... but..... well..... We all know I love to overfill my plate... so.... this is just testament to that.

Since it's still cold as heck here in Idaho, I chose an image that made me think of Spring.  I'm not the hugest fan of spring, all flowers and cutsy things, butterflies and whatnot.... yuck!  But since I'm still freezing my are off, why not think of something a little warmer?  So, spring it is. Here's my card:
Wanna know how I made this: well here's what I can tell ya..... First I stamped the image (Lulu with Peony) onto Catherine Pooler card stock, then I colored it with Copic Markers.  I fussy cut her out, because we all know that's how I love to pass my time.  Then.... I fussed about with papers for about 30 …

Color your heart out!

So if you follow me on social media you have already seen the HUGE announcement.  I'll be hosting color alongs all year long with stamps and fun supplies from some of your favorite companies!  I'm so excited about all of this!  Here are just a few of the sponsors who have already joined the list for Sweet Sentiment.

And there are MANY more to come!  I'm so over the moon to bring this fun and creative adventure to you all and I cannot wait for our first class releasing in January!
Hope to see you all there!  Tootles!

What's new?

Hello blog land, I have not been active on here for a long long time.  That doesn't mean I haven't been crafting.  I have just gone through a few (let's call them) challenges in the crafting arena as of lately and I haven't had it in me to blog.  I think I'm back.... maybe... sorta.... well, we will see how it goes.

I'll be posting some things here to keep you all informed of what's happing in Sweet Sentiment and what is NEW and also what you can look forward to.  I'm going to be giving you all a big announcement tomorrow so be sure you're a member of the Sweet Sentiment Facebook Group (  I hope you will all be as excited as I am for this announcement.

In the mean time, here's a little bit of eye candy for you that I've been working on.  Thanks for stopping by!

These are all pages from my new Bullet Journal (the Canvo Journal from Catherine Pooler).  It was a Christmas gift from my mother, and…

Mixing it up

Hello all, there have been a lot of changes happening in my world, and thus, I haven't been blogging a bunch.  But i wanted to share with you my very first attempt at mixed media.

Mixed media is a scary thing for me.  I'm a VERY clean person and a very clean crafter.  I think things to perfectly fit in their place and I like them to be organized and linear and every other adjective that means tidy! He he he! I'm pretty sure most of you already know that.  But...... My good friend Leah has been begging me to get into mixed media for a couple of years now, and I finally let her push me off the edge of the proverbial pool.  She has come up with this incredible art journaling program.... check it out.....
So, I figured "what the heck?" and jumped on in.  I'm a week behind as I've been dragging my feet on getting into the mixed media world... but I'll catch up quickly I assume! So, last week was to use the word "Compassion" as your inspiration...…
