Money, money, money, money..... money!

'Come on, sing it, you know you wanna..... I'll wait.... sing.... OK, now that we got THAT outta our systems (it will be stuck in you head all day now... ha ha ha!) I think we can move on. The challenge today was to make a card that has something to do with money! SWEET!!!! I found this quote online and thought that it would be PERFECT for the challenge..... My Pal sent me a bunch of fun stuff, and in that was this digi of these cute little girls shopping.... so I decided to use that.... thanks Pal! I finished it off with some silver and gold brads (wish those were real!) and called it a day. I played with putting ribbons and bows and flowers and such on this card.... I know.... gasp...Jammie made a card without a ribbon on it!!!!! But nothing seemed to fit just right... I think simple was the way to go with this, monochromatic, and let the words speak for themselves..... My sister LOVES to shop... so I think this card may go to her.... hahahahaha

OK, now onto the IMPORTANT STUFF!!!!!!! I GOT TOP TRIO!!!!!!!! Oh yeaa! Oh, yeah! Yeay me! Happy Dance! Woot, Woot! hahahahha I'm doing cartwheels (on the inside). What fun....? I made top trio for my 1920's Mickey Mouse (Steamboat Willie) card!!!!! See, thinking outside of the norm (usually just called being a bit strange) is what I do best! hahahahaha

Well, not that that is outta MY system... it's house cleaning day, and I better get to it! See y'all later!

P.S. I got top trio.... wooooohoooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! hahahaha (Ok, I'm done now.... honest!!!!!)

Growing in Unity Day 1

Hello there Unity Crafters!!!!! Today marks my very first day in the Growing in Unity event.  Today I'm featuring a card that I made using the set {Jar Full of} Sweetness.  Those of you who know me, know that I'm completely addicted to apothecary jars and have lots of them filled with all sorts of candies on my countertop.  I adore them and i'll never stop collecting them.  So, when I saw this set, I knew I HAD TO HAVE it straight away!
I'm very new to making shaker cards but I thought it would be perfect to have the little sequins I purchased from Firefly Crafts inside the jars to make it look like little candies in there!

I also used a few of the flowers I purchased from Firefly Crafts as well, they are made by Wild Orchid and they are absolutely perfect!

I hope you enjoyed this card today and it inspired you to make something crafty! Surf the Unity site and find a cute stamp and get with it! he he he! See you all tomorrow!
Have a Crafty Day!

Getting Nerdy!

Good morning crafty people!
Today I've made a card using a stamp I purchased from Quick Creations! Seriously LOVE that store, I could spend so much money there!  It's all online so I don't even have to put on real pants (read: not leggings) to shop, and my coffee stays hot! He he he!
This stamp is called Anya Nerds Out and it's by The Greeting Farm, one of my favorite stamp companies of all time!  I'm like this close to getting a TGF tattoo... for reals! Here's my card:

Copic Colors: Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000, R20 Hair: E29, E25, E21 Skirt: G03, YG06, G00 Shirt/Shoes: Y17, Y15, Y13, Y00 Jacket/Legwarmers: RV34, RV63, V01, RV00 Buttons: Recollections Flowers: Recollections Papers: BoBunny, SU!, Cakewalk, XPress It Blending Stock
