Deck the Halls!

Hey there Sweeties!

Today I'm coming at you with a fresh take on a set released this month from The Rabbit Hole Designs.  I've used this set before, but I love figuring out new ways to use my stamps.  I used the "Love You More" set, but I left off some of the image..... here, take a look:

So I used the image where the little people are decorating the tree.... but I didn't ink up the tree when I stamped the image...

I then built a little scene around them.  I imagined them on their front stoop, in need of a ladder, but trying to make things work anyways.  I can totally identify with this girl though, I always want to decorate all the things!

I started by stamping the image on Sweet Sentiment Coloring Paper using Momento Desert Sand ink.  I then colored it up using my Copic markers.  I placed it on top of DSP from Graphic 45 (A Christmas Carol).  I added some "ribbon" from Tim Holtz and a button from Dress it Up Buttons.  I also added a few flowers from my stash, I believe all of these are from Wild Orchid Crafts, but don't quote me on that.  I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of paper with Versamark ink and embossed it with Wow Embossing powder in Super Fine Black.

Here are the Copic colors I used:
