Forget about Christmas in July...

I know, I know, I know... BAH HUMBUG! 

But seriously people, everyone is already doing that Christmas in July thing... we're forgetting something seriously important here.... HALLOWEEN!  I mean, since I was little I've always LOVED Halloween.... but NOT in the "normal" ways.  I am NOT big on candy, don't get me wrong, I love me some York peppermint patties, and I LOVE milky way midnights (OMG YUM), but..... and this is a very large but..... I HATED going out and going Trick-or-treating. Just wasn't my thing.  So, in what was did I love halloween? I'll explain, ...... DUDE..... It's the one day a year that you get to all out dress up for no good reason and spend the entire day as something totally fictional!  How is that not the MOST AWESOME THING EVER?!?!?!?!?!? 

So, with all of that tangent off of my chest... let's get to the card shall we? He he he! So, it's Wonderful Wednesday and that means time for an ANYTHING GOES challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps.  I love anything goes challenges because you can really show off your creativity! Okie dokie.... with all of that business out of the way..... the challenge this week is "Things with Wings!"  I thought to myself that this would be a super fun challenge and immediately went for one of my fairy stamps..... you, YOU KNOW ME TOO WELL FOR THAT!!!!!!!  So, I promptly put Rosie fairy back in her place and I tapped my fingers on my desk thinking.... thinking... thinking..... well, I guess it's time to put away the stamps from this months' release..... and we all know that my OCD demands that I alphabetize my stamps... so as I was labeling them... I noticed that the new Hoppy Friends happens to have some sweet little birdies in it.... and birds have wings!!!! OMG I need a cup of coffee and I need to get coloring..... coffee, ohhhh ANGIE!!!!!!! ......and then a card was born.... well the idea for one.... here's how It came out. 

I went with a St. Patty's day theme here as well and I made it into a shaker card.... because, well, yeah, why not?!?!?!? I used Angie, Hoppy Friends, and the sentiment is from the new Tweetie Birds set.

It's time for a Krafty Komeback!!!

As you know, lots of our rubber stamp sets have long retired and are not available for purchase anymore. Well, we've decided to switch some things up and rerelease a few of your faves in clear! And today we're announcing a new one!

This hilarious stamp set features one of our most popular images from artist Annie Rodrigue! I mean, how many of us need our coffee in the morning before our feet even hit the floor? And I know I don't love mornings....do you?? Haha! What a great stamp set to send to our coffee-lovin' friends!

It's ANGIE!!!

I used the older version of Angie for my Krafty Kreation today, and I actually combines a sentiment from the "Squishy Hugs" set and the original Angie set. I colored her up with my trusty Copic markers on some Express-it coloring stock.  I just love her so much!!! I make cards with Angie all the time because she is just so versatile.  I've used her for anniversary cards, and birthday cards, and bridal shower cards, and even a sympathy and get well soon card.  Angie is AWESOME!
