A little magic!

Hi everyone! Welcome to another challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

(...and sadly, my last challenge as GDT... sniffle sniffle.)

In addition to the great Krafty Challenges & Wonderful Wednesday, each month we will post a Sketch. The sketch will last all month long and if you use it in ANY of our Challenges or WW's during that month you will get an additional chance to win a store gift card! Now time for the challenge this week! The theme is .... drum roll please.... MAGIC! I love magic themes because they can be almost anything! I decided a fairy fell under the category of magic, so I pulled out sweet little Rosie and colored her up!

The DSP is from Echo Park and Doodlebug, the enamel dots are also Doodlebug and the flowers and leaves are all from Wild orchid Crafts.

Whew, that was quite the card recipe wasn't it! See that watermark there? I was so incredibly proud to use it this week and I'll be so very sad to see it go. But my time as GDT has come to an end.... sniffle.....

I'm so grateful to have been a Krafty Guest this month. Wow it's been a blast! The DT is so dun and so nice and they truly are the best in the business. They are so motivational and kind and just a fun bunch of gals. I truly felt welcome and I've totally made some lifelong friends! Thank you to the DT and to Kimmie for having me GDT this month. My Spirit Animal is...... ANGIE!!!!!!

It's time for a Krafty Komeback!!!

As you know, lots of our rubber stamp sets have long retired and are not available for purchase anymore. Well, we've decided to switch some things up and rerelease a few of your faves in clear! And today we're announcing a new one!

This hilarious stamp set features one of our most popular images from artist Annie Rodrigue! I mean, how many of us need our coffee in the morning before our feet even hit the floor? And I know I don't love mornings....do you?? Haha! What a great stamp set to send to our coffee-lovin' friends!

It's ANGIE!!!

I used the older version of Angie for my Krafty Kreation today, and I actually combines a sentiment from the "Squishy Hugs" set and the original Angie set. I colored her up with my trusty Copic markers on some Express-it coloring stock. I just love her so much!!! I make cards with Angie all the time because she is just so versatile. I've used her for anniversary cards, and birthday cards, and bridal shower cards, and even a sympathy and get well soon card. Angie is AWESOME!

But..... here's what the newer version looks like:

You might remember this sassy lady! And I think the new sentiments are too funny and match Angie's attitude perfectly!!

Since it's rainy here in Idaho I chose to go with the colors theme this time. I love using blues and grays in my cards. I think I used every single blue Copic I have! Ha ha ha! I found these pieces of damask printed paper in my scrap bin and the cloud DSP is from Echo Park. I used a flower die and and edge die to cut the white cardstock then used different Copic markers on the edges and then I used some silver embossing powder on a couple as well. Last, I stamped the sentiment with versa mark and used my silver embossing powder to add to the top of the card. Then, to finish it all off, I found these cute little bling stickies in the dollar bin at Michael's and I knew they would make perfect raindrops!

I'm so glad that football season is over and it's almost time for BASEBALL!!!!! I may live in Idaho, but I was born in northern Cali and I'm a SF Giants fan through and through! This little guy is a fan just like me, and he's all suited up and ready to go to the game! I used some DSP from Doodlebug and a length of black satin ribbon to make this card. The orange yardstick is just a scrap of Recollections stock that I had in a combo pack from Michael's. I colored him up with my trusty Copic markers (one day I'll learn to use my pencils, I swear it!) on some Express-it coloring stock. I hope you love him like I do!

I colored up this tough little guy with my copic markers and fussy cut him which took the better part of my afternoon. He he he! I used some DSP from Echo park I believe (I could be wrong here) and a few adhesive dimensionals to really give him some pop. This card is going to be perfect for a fun little guy I know who's going to get his new belt soon! Hooray!

Welcome to Day THREE of the February Krafty Peeks it Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

When I saw this Image I totally lost my mind! I'm married to a police officer and I was just way too excited to see this little smiling dude! I colored him up in traditional Police Midnight Blue with my comics... I set him on a map and laid out his crib scene investigations for him. Inside I used wash with Doughnuts and a Coffee clip from Doodlebug to top it all off!

(Edit: OMG I just found out that my card has been used for the banner! I'm soooooo excited! I'm honored and I just can't even see straight. I'm giddy! Hooray!.... ok back to business......)

Welcome to Day TWO of the February Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we have a second stamp set from artist Cheryl Grant and I think you'll agree...it will make your heart soar!!

It's called SKY'S THE LIMIT!

This fun new boy's set features Lucas and his furry pal!!! It features one large main image plus FIVE coordinating sentiments in a fabulous font!

When I found this paper stack at Hobby Lobby I knew it was the perfect stack for this card! My friend Leah sent me the ribbon (like a whole ton of ribbon) and the charm I got from a little kit I purchased online. Of course I used 40 Copics (no really, probably 40) to color this little guy and his pup and his shiny airplane. Then I used a silver Wink of stella pen for the propellor and a white one in the highlights to give it a bit of sparkle. I hope you like it, and I hope my card, along with the other DT will get your inspirations flying (ok I couldn't resist a few puns, come on now!)!

This Week's challenge is....... HEARTS! As you can see from my card below, I'm a little more subtle on my "hearts" than most tend to be. I used a but of DSP from Doodlebug, some wooden embellishments and a couple of flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I colored the image.... Betsy Booklover.... with my copic markers and here's the finished product.

OMG! I'M A GDT!!!

It's here, it's here, MY GDT month is here!!!!!!!!!! I can't even say how honored and excited I am to be part of the Krafty team this month! Oh man, oh man there is some AWESOME stuff that you're going to be using, I'm too ecstatic and can't wait to share!

...And I'll be honest and tell you that I forgot to note the colors I used on Minnie and Maisie.

The embellishment is just a few strips of wash tape that are from Recollections from Michael's.

Be a square!

Good morning Krafty people!!!! I'm here today sharing with you a Square card! Yeah, I rarely make square cards.... I don't know why... I mean, I have NOTHING against the shape.... I just get stuck doing my 5x7 cards. It's muscle memory. I sit at my desk, I cut a 5x7 card base, I pick papers, I find an image, I color..... it's comfortable, it's habit, and I LIKE IT! HA HA HA!

So when I saw the challenge at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps, I decided to "do something different" and stop being a "square" by making just that; a square card! The challenge this week is to make a square card, in case I hadn't said that enough, and you can click here to find the details.

On the top of my paper bin has been this orange piece of paper that is covered in cute old cameras! I love it and I can just never bring myself to use it... that was going to end today! I also knew that SOMEWHERE in my stash of charms I had this little camera that would go perfect. Which led me to the "Oh, Snap!" set by KKS! (Unfortunately it's not available for purchase any longer.) I just adore this set and I had so much fun coloring it!

...and here's the inside!

To color the image I seriously used 45 Copic markers! Yeah, that shocked even me. But it was fun and I had coffee, so I kept going.

This sweet new features a large main image of some sweet animals getting ready to celebrate! It also features FIVE awesome sentiments in a mixture of fun and funky fonts!

So, this month I'm a GDT for KKS and I couldn't be more thrilled! I'm like 5 cups of coffee thrilled..... seriously, I think I can SEE noises! hahahaha!!!!! I got up super early this morning and made a colorful card with this adorable image..... ready to see????

I loved this set so much that I just HAD to use every single stamp that came with it! Here's my card recipe:

2. Light blue twine

3. Cupcake buttons by Dress it up

5. Stampendous "Detail Black" embossing powder

6. About 20 Tim Holtz Distress Inks (i use the little squares)

7. One fun lime green 3" paper doily

Kraftin' Kimmie Colour

Hi everyone! Guess what? I'm a....

Welcome to another challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!
This week's challenge is to use your Favourite Colour!!! My favorite color(s) are Purple and Teal. So I used those as my starting point, and of course, a few more colors got mixed in as well! Ha ha ha!

Card Recipe:

The image I used is called "Rosie Fairy" and you can find her here.

The papers were random scraps that I had in my huge bin, so honestly I have no i deb what company they are from.

All of the flowers and leaves are from Wild Orchid

I used about 25 Stampin' Dimensionals and the distresser tool from Stampin' Up!

...and now for the list of Copics I used:
