I'm sorta in the BRIGHT color mood lately.... so I took out this wicked cute stamp set that I never use (gasp)! This set is called Squishy Hugs and it just makes me laugh!
I mean, check out the look on that cat's face! Isn't that just priceless?!?!?! I used a top note die from Stampin up! and crossitch circle dies from Gina Marie.  There's a fistful of flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, and of course I used my Copic markers to color up this sweet little girl and her cat.

Ok, so bust out those Kraftin Kimmie Stamps and get to coloring!  I just can't wait to see what you create!!!
See ya all soon! Tootles!

Circular Saturday Challenge!

Ahhhhhhhhhh..... Saturday....... I love Saturday..... well.. sorta. He he he!  I Love Saturday Challenges though!!!! I love how they give you an idea of what to do, but then leave you so much room to get Krafty!  This Saturday is no different..... the theme for this challenge is..... CIRCLES!

Ok so Kraftin Kimmie stamps has like the largest array of stamping goodness.... chubby girls, skinny girls, princesses, teenagers...... literally if you can't find a stamp for your card at KKS, you're not looking hard enough! he he he!  Seriously though, I figured since yesterday was all about eating cupcakes (did you see yesterday's Krafty Comeback? It's called Let Them Eat Cupcakes!) today should probably have something to counteract all of that sugar! he he he... so Here's my take on the Saturday Challenge theme of Circles.
Ok, so, I used a die from Gina Marie dies, I used one of the girls from the "Smart A Bit Assy 2" set.  I colored her up on my Copic paper with a bunch of bright colors.  The yardstick is all Recollections brand from Michael's. The pop dots are matte finish from Doodlebug. Man I had a blast coloring this girl! I just adore her! Those leg warmers though!!!!!! He he he! She's AWESOME!
In keeping in line with the rest of our challenges (Wonderful Wednesday and our NEW Krafty Scrappy Challenge), we will be drawing one winner per month from all Saturday Challenge entries to win a $20 gift card!! You can enter as many times per month as you'd like!!
Ok so, you have all month to play along, so get Krafty, pop a card in the challenge folder, and I can't wait to see what you make. As always there's more details on the FB page and on the KKS Blog itself as well.  Thanks everyone for stopping by!  Please follow me if you haven't already!  Tootles!

I used this adorable paper from Doodlebug and this super sassy chick, isn't she just THE BEST?!?!?!? I know that this set will get LOTS and LOTS of use!!! For sure! The REAL story behind the darker skin tone is two fold rally. One; I was having a conversation with one of the other Krafty Girls that I wanna start diversifying my skin tone coloring, seems like i use the same colors over and over. Second; my E11, E04, and E21 were all funky and I wanted to throw them out of the window, so I had to find something else to do while I was waiting for my new ones in the mail! ha ha ha!  Hope you love my card and hope you have fun hopping around to all of the DT and guest blogs.  ENJOY!  Tootles!

This Saturday the theme is..... MERMAIDS!!!!! Here's my Krafty Creation:
I chose to use the lovely Florence Finbottom  to satisfy this mermaid challenge.  I also found this poem via google about a mermaid and thought it was just lovely.  So I added as the sentiment and away I went!  I cut the seaweed out of patterned paper in various sizes on my circuit machine and then layered it with greens from Wild Orchid Crafts. I love the way this turned out.

Isn't Lexi just the cutest?!?!?! EEEEKKKKK!!!! I just adore her!
I used my Cricut machine to cut out the grasses that I put at the bottom and the oval die is from Gina Marie Dies.  The clouds were in an envelope that my sweet cousin Lena sent to me, and the paper has been with me for years (no really, like 10 wish years or so.... yeah... shhhh I'm a paper hoarder, don't tell anyone!).  This is what's in the stamp set:

Ok, so don't forget to hop along with the Krafty Krew and guests today and leave a little love on each blog.  Then, join us on Sunday for the LIVE online release party in the Kraftin Kimmie Stamps and Friends Facebook Group!  The party starts Sunday (that's today) the 11th at 7 pm Eastern time! So, I had to pick just one of these cuties for my project today. It was a tough decision, for sure... but... here's what I came up with:
I love using my RV pens and my BG ones together! They make such fun combos!  The paper I got in a stack from Hobby Lobby and I'm not quite sure of the brand, but it's a whole stack of different kinds of maps in a bunch of colors. The enamel dots are matte sprinkles from Doodlebug!
ALL FIVE of the new June clear stamp sets will be released on Sunday evening! Be sure to join us at the LIVE Online Release Party beginning at 7pm EST! Come join us to help celebrate the new release, check out lots of krafty kreations, have a chance to win some prizes and hang out with all our krafty friends! Hope to see you there! This gorgeous set of blooms is so versatile and is perfectly designed for so many themes and reasons to send cards to the ones you love! There is a basket of blooms, a trio of single blooms and of course fantastically designed sentiments, which, just happen to fit inside the basket!
Ok, so you all know that flowers aren't really my thing.  I just have a hard time arranging them and making them work for me.  But when I saw this set I thought that they were so versatile that they ere was no way that I couldn't make them work.  So... I stamped a bunch out and colored them up.  Wanna see? Well, of course you do, or you wouldn't be here!!!! He he he Silly me!
I used copic markers in B99,97,95,93, and 91, and greenery from Wild Orchid Crafts. The oval stitched die is from Gina Marie Designs.  I put them all together to made this awesome gift card holder!

Ok.. first up..... ya ready for this?
This first set is bloomin' beautiful! It's a gorgeous set from artist Annie Rodrigue!
It's called FLOWER GIRLS!
This fun set features two amazing flower girl images with so much awesome detail to colour! And also two coordinating sentiments!

So, do ya wanna see what I made?  Suer you do, or you wouldn't be here right? He he he! Okie dokie... here it is..... I give you.... FLOWER GIRL #1:
Ok, so I admit that she is challenging to color, with all of those sweet little Hydrangea blooms and the foliage, but it was fun and I drank A LOT (yeah a lot) of coffee while getting this done.  Seriously, once you break it down into pieces it really is a fun one to color! I used a paper from BoBunny and a zillion green Copic markers.  The pinks are all R89,85,83,81 and 06 for a little brightness. I used a different skin combo on this sweet flower girl, I used E000,00,11, and BV20.  It added a but of a darker shadow that I was looking for since she's totally in the leaves and shadowed for sure.

Ok, so don't miss out on the hop, it's important, you wanna win right?  So leave a comment on everyone's blogs and maybe you'll get chosen to win! Woot Woot!  See ya back here tomorrow with more Krafty Goodness!  Tootles!!!!
