Masked Cutie

Remember how I said there are a lot fo cute and FREE digit out there right now?  Well, THIS is one of them!  This sweet girl is from Stamp Anniething and she has a few friends that are FREE as well.

I don't often color blondes because I feel like you lose so much depth in the hair with the lighter colors, but I REALLY wanted this girl to be a blondie!
Copic Markers Used:
Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000
Hair: E35, YR23, E55, E53, Y000
Dress: BG78, BG09, BG07, BG45, BG53
Mask: RV17, RV55, R83, RV23, RV10
Eyes: B97, E35, Y11, G000
White Jelly Roll Pen, Black Copic Multiliner .03

I used the "Hello" paper pad from Doodlebug Designs and of course I used Mulberry paper flowers from Wild Orchid crafts. You can just see the Stickles I used as well.  Their clear glittery drops are my absolute favorite!

Okie dokie, my friends, Guess it's time for coffee.  I'll see you all tomorrow! Toodles!

Oh S%!#!!!

Yeah, so at some point this whole Coronavirus thing is going to end.... so I decided to make a card that reflected THAT sentiment exactly..... here it is:

The image is a Digi from Moonlight Whispers by Annie Rodrigue which was printed on Xpress it Blending stock.... Wow I haven't used that paper for a long time, and let me tell you.... I used to be a snob and only use that paper! NOT ANYMORE!!!! I HATE it now.  I'm a Sweet Sentiment Paper Snob in every sense of the word!

Anyways, I busted open a new doodlebug paper pack and went to town with it.... So happy I did, these super bright colors and geometric patterns are perfect for the layers of this card.

I heat embossed the sentiments which are from Ink Road Stamps. Then I added Stickles to it, because it needed a little sparkle.

I hope you love this card.  I thought it was kind of hilarious.  I tend to handle the most serious of situations with humor, so this was totally right up my alley.

Ok, I need more coffee.... as usual... talk to you all later... toodles!

A day at the beach

Hey Oddies and Sweeties!  I'm here today with another card featuring an incredible digital image from Some Odd Girl!   Ok, so I'm actually not a HUGE mermaid fan.  I LIKE them, but it's not a big  "OMG it's a mermaid I MUST have it or I will surely die," type scenario.  With that being said, Kristy has some of the absolute cutest mermaids out there.  The one I'm sharing with you today is one of my favorites! Here she is:

She's rightfully named "Mermaid Queen" given that she is wearing a crown and a lot of other jewelry. Lol! I just picked up a piece of Sweet Sentiment Coloring paper and went to town with my Copic markers!  I love orange and rarely see it used in cards, so I decided to use it as a focal point for her tail.  Man, I'm sure glad I did, because I totally love how it came out. I used a combination of Nuvo Drops and Stickles and a paint brush to make the ocean foam, added a bunch of flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and Magnolia, I stuck on some enamel dots from Doodlebug design.  Boom! Done! The papers are from First Edition and Graphic 45.

Well, as much as I wish I was at the beach hanging out with mermaid royalty, I'm still in Idaho, and it's January and cold.... so I'm going to go make a cup of coffee!  See you all soon my friends, Toodles!

More than doughnuts!

It takes a lot for me to love someone more than doughnuts.... but I'm pretty sure this stamp is the perfect example of that.

This adorable little squirrel is so happy to have this tiny doughnut and tell you just how much he loves it and you.  Gosh he just makes me smile!  I adore him.

I stamped him with Momento desert sand ink onto Sweet Sentiment Card Stock and colored him up with copic markers. I Thun used a bunch of papers from Doodlebug (the Cream and sugar set) and I made flowers using Heartfelt creations stamps and dies (these are oak berry lane flowers I believe).

Thank you all for stoping by, you can purchase this stamp here: https://www.therabbitholedesigns.com/product-page/more-than-donuts-4x4

Oh yeah, and there's prizes!!!!

I'll see you back here tomorrow for more of the amazing Rabbit Hole Design release! Toodles!!!

A whole bunch of cuteness from Scrappers Delights!

Today I have a little something for everyone from the newest release at Scrappers Delights.  I've been busy making some of the cutest cards ever!!!!!!

First up to bat is.... well, this adorable little batter!!!
I colored her up using my copic markers.  And placed her on a very simply laid out card using Doodlebug papers, some Nuvo drops, and a length of sheer ribbon.

Next up is a girl after my own heart..... she's STUCK in an airport waiting for her flight.  If any of you follow my group on Facebook you know exactly how close to home this image hits!

Again, I used my copic markers to color this sweet girl up.  She's doing exactly what I did when I was stuck last time, drinking coffee and reading a book, trying to keep a smile on her face.  I used papers from the brand new Doodlebug I <3 travel paper pad, some Nuvo drops, and a length of satin ribbon to bring this card together.  I also used Distress Oxide Ink in Vintage Photo and a sponge to add some light tan around the edges of all the papers.

Third, is the one I think is my most favorite of them all.... and the subject of my September Sweet Sentiment coloring class.  I present to you: Marigold!

This sweet little girl I think is super excited to go back to school!  Look at all of those amazing ringlets and that adorable little summer dress!  I colored her with my trusty copic markers and placed her on papers from the ned Doodlebug Back to School paper pad.  I also used flowers that I made bu hand using the sets from Heartfelt Creations.  I finished it off with a length of sheer black ribbon and a bunch of glitter all over those flowers!

I really hope you loved everything you saw here today.  If you'd like to purchase any fo these Digis you can get them from https://www.scrappersdelights.co.uk/#/
and if you're interested in the Sweet sentiment classes, simply scroll to the top of this page and then click on the "Classes" tab.

Hope you all have a wonderful Weekend! Tootles!

Magical colors

Classic "Magical" colors, that inspire memories of very large mice who live in temperate climates, that's the inspiration for this card! I'm always a fan of bright colors, we are all aware of that! But for some reason red, yellow, and black are a bit tough for me to put together on a card.  So, I dove in head first, embracing the challenge.  Here's what I came up with.

I used the brand new Sweet Sentiment Coloring Paper to color up this FREE digi from Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez after printing her out (at only 20% opacity).  The DSP is from the Echo Park "Wish Upon a Star" 6x6 paper pad. The ribbon is from Fun Stamper's Journey, and the Dies I used are from Gina Marie Dies.  The tiny piece of Washi tape and the enamel dots are actually "sprinkles" from Doodlebug Designs. In all honesty, the layout was a happy accident, as Mr. Ross would say about trees.... it just sort of happened.

Thanks for stopping by today, I'm off to be a productive member of society.... hahahahaahahahaha I'm totally kidding! I'm off to color some more and drink coffee! Tootles!

Copics used:
Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E00
Hair: BV29, E29, E27, E25, E23, E21
Dress: BV29, R59, R29, R27, R24
Shoes/Belt: YR15, Y19, Y13

I decided that I couldn't go any longer without showing you guys the Witch I began coloring on a color along not so long ago.... so here's the finished card!
I use a TON of Stickles on this card, and it's a shame you can't see it in the photo, but this thing glitters like there's not tomorrow... the background is made with the distress inks you see in the photo and then i used a flat paint brush to paint streaks of glittery Stickles behind this sweet little witch. The papers are from Doodlebug.

We want EVERYONE to be able to play along so your submission can use ANY stamp and can be any theme, any style, any design and it can be a card, a scrapbook page, an altered item....you name it!! I colored her up on Ex-Press it Coloring stock with my Copic markers, and then fussy cut her by hand with my Cutter Bee scissors. The DSP are both 6x6" from Echo Park pads. The enamel dots are from Doodlebug and the twine is from Michael's.  I used Distress Ink in Vintage Photo and I sponge from Su! to distress the edges of the papers. I hope you like it.

Wait... NOT a card?

Every month there is a Krafty Scrappy challenge that is "anything but a card." We all know that I have a lot of trouble doing this.... like A LOT! I mean, I make cards, that 's what I do. So when you tell me to make something that 's not a card... I instantly question our friendship...... but....

Ok, so my second love, is my planner! Yeah I'm one of "those" people. I love the tangible.  I don't put dates and appointments and stuff like that in my phone, I like to have it on paper. .....DUHHHHH Jammie, you dork (yeah I call myself names), make a darn planner layout! Sheesh!

Ok, so I used distress inks and a sponge with a stencil to make the could background.  I stamped the trolls on coloring card stock and colored them up all bright and fun to go with the colouds. I added some stickers and Washi tape, this is obviously BEFORE i wrote in everything that I have to do this week. But you get the idea!

Here's the deets on the challenge:
1. Create ANY scrap page, Project Life Layout or pocket page cards, altered item, etc. JUST NOT A CARD!
2. MUST be a NEW creation (created on or after this post date)
3. MUST use Kraftin Kimmie stamps to be entered in to the drawing.
4. You have a month to play, enter AS MANY TIMES as you'd like!
5. PRIZES?!? Of course there are prizes!! Once we've reached 5 entries, we draw a random winner (winner will be drawn at the close of the challenge)!!
6. You have until Monday, September 25th @ 12:00 pm Eastern to get your entries in.
7. Be sure to also share your creations on our Krafty Friends FB page so we can all drool and OOHHHH and AHHHHH!

So, yeah, it's NOT a card! Hooray for me! Now let's see what ya got! Make something  other than a card and enter the challenge! I can't wait to see what you make!  Tootles!

I like big cups....

...and I cannot lie, you other brothers can't deny.....
Ummm.... ok, I better stop right there... he he he! In the interest of not offending anyone I'll cease my singing and go on about the crafting! Probably a good plan huh?

Well, the day is upon us... it's SATURDAY! I sorta HATE Saturdays to be perfectly honest.... I feel lost for things to do and I feel like I gotta entertain my family and be... you know... a productive member of society.  I'm perfectly happy on any given week day, sitting in my craft room, just coloring away and singing along with Maroon 5 or something similar (and by similar I mean something completely random that i'm not going to admit to so I won't put it in writing). On the bright side though, Saturday means another Saturday Challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps! Now there's something I can get excited about!  So.... Guess what? I'm the HOSTESS this week, meaning that I got to CHOOSE THE THEME! Woot woot! Can ya guess what I chose? Uh huh!
YOUA RE CHALLENGED TO USE A RETIRED STAMP!
There's been so much buzz lately about all of the older retired KKS images that I thought it would be fun to see ya ya got!  So dust off those old rubbers girls and get to crafting.  Here's the one I chose to use..... (please refer to the song above.... hehehehehe I know ya wanna sing it!) :
This is normally where i'd list for you the Copic markers that I used to color this image, but I was so excited when I colored it that I forgot to make a note of what I used. so.... immmm... yeah.
The papers are from Doodlebug as are the enamel dots and the coffee cup paperclip.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The ribbon is from Recollections.
The Die I used is from Gina Marie Dies.
...and the image.... oh that wonderful image is a girl after my own heart, her name is "I like big cups" from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps.

Ok, so go forth my crafty peeps and get inking up those retired stamps.  I can't wait to see what you make!  Please be sure to post your creations in the Krafty Friends FB group and don't forget to enter them in the contest on the KKS Blog.  Me? Yeah I'm heard out to get a cup of coffee.... what can I say? I love that stuff! Delicious! Tootles!

HOP day!

So prepare yourself for the crazy amount of amazingness that is about to hit ya today! Woohooo! Hop day is so much fun because you get to see all of the new release in action, I bet you can't wait to get your hands on these awesome stamps!

Well, today, since we all know I'm such a fan of Annie Rodrigue stamps, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to use...... FEARLESS FARRAH!! I think she may be my favorite out of this release.... not that I pick favorites, it's too hard... but it's convent for me to say that she's my fave and that's why I chose to use her or today! hahahahahah Here ya go!!!!
I used some DSP from My Minds Eye that looks like graph paper, I used some ribbon from Leah, and some matte sprinkles from Doodlebug, then i cut her out using Dies from Gina Marie! EEEKKKK!!!! She's just so darn cute!  I even gave her freckles! I mean, come on, she NEEDED some freckles right?  Anyways, I hope that you love her as much as I do and I hope that you have fallen head over heels for this release like I have.

I'm so happy to have spent this week with you all, and I'm super happy you have left comments along the way.  Did you know that I post nearly every wednesday and saturday? Ok, so I got all cray cray and busted out the colored pencils..... gasp, I know! Don't fall off your chair! The papers are for Doodlebug as are the matte colored sprinkles (enamel dots). The ribbon is from Recollections.  This reading Lexi set is so adorable, I just love her little puppy sitting beside her... and.... Circular Saturday Challenge!

Ahhhhhhhhhh..... Saturday....... I love Saturday..... well.. sorta. He he he!  I Love Saturday Challenges though!!!! I love how they give you an idea of what to do, but then leave you so much room to get Krafty!  This Saturday is no different..... the theme for this challenge is..... CIRCLES!

Ok so Kraftin Kimmie stamps has like the largest array of stamping goodness.... chubby girls, skinny girls, princesses, teenagers...... literally if you can't find a stamp for your card at KKS, you're not looking hard enough! he he he!  Seriously though, I figured since yesterday was all about eating cupcakes (did you see yesterday's Krafty Comeback? It's called Let Them Eat Cupcakes!) today should probably have something to counteract all of that sugar! he he he... so Here's my take on the Saturday Challenge theme of Circles.
Ok, so, I used a die from Gina Marie dies, I used one of the girls from the "Smart A Bit Assy 2" set.  I colored her up on my Copic paper with a bunch of bright colors.  The yardstick is all Recollections brand from Michael's. The pop dots are matte finish from Doodlebug. Man I had a blast coloring this girl! I just adore her! Those leg warmers though!!!!!! He he he! She's AWESOME!
In keeping in line with the rest of our challenges (Wonderful Wednesday and our NEW Krafty Scrappy Challenge), we will be drawing one winner per month from all Saturday Challenge entries to win a $20 gift card!! You can enter as many times per month as you'd like!!
Ok so, you have all month to play along, so get Krafty, pop a card in the challenge folder, and I can't wait to see what you make. As always there's more details on the FB page and on the KKS Blog itself as well.  Thanks everyone for stopping by!  Please follow me if you haven't already!  Tootles!

I used this adorable paper from Doodlebug and this super sassy chick, isn't she just THE BEST?!?!?!? I know that this set will get LOTS and LOTS of use!!! For sure! The REAL story behind the darker skin tone is two fold rally. One; I was having a conversation with one of the other Krafty Girls that I wanna start diversifying my skin tone coloring, seems like i use the same colors over and over. Second; my E11, E04, and E21 were all funky and I wanted to throw them out of the window, so I had to find something else to do while I was waiting for my new ones in the mail! ha ha ha!  Hope you love my card and hope you have fun hopping around to all of the DT and guest blogs.  ENJOY!  Tootles!

Beep Beep

I love using my RV pens and my BG ones together! They make such fun combos!  The paper I got in a stack from Hobby Lobby and I'm not quite sure of the brand, but it's a whole stack of different kinds of maps in a bunch of colors. The enamel dots are matte sprinkles from Doodlebug!

Saturdays bring us "Themed challenges" and I love me some themed challenges! They are so open, but give me just that tiny amount of guidance so I know what direction to go in. The theme this Saturday is.... you've guessed it.... FLOWERS!!! So, glue them, color them, draw them, whatever you think will work for you, but show us some FLOWERS!!!! Here's my card for you to see:
I used Miss Floatin' Fiona, who is not particularly a "floral" type stamp. But I wanted to show you all that you can use ANYTHING for the flowers challenge.  I colored her up on a FB LIVE video for you all (well I colored her hair and eyes and skin on the live video), then cut her out with an oval die from Gina Marie.  I added some Doodlebug paper (from the we are mermaids 6x6 paper pad) and 7 bazillion flowers and leaves from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I finished it off with a few enamel dots from Echo Park and a couple of seashell shaped buttons (you can't really see them as they are sorta under the flower petals, but trust me, they are there).  I really hope you like it! So BRIGHT and fun!

This set is called "Make a Splash!" and is one of my absolute favorites of all time!  Coloring all of those petticoat layers is so much fun.  It gives me plenty of time to just check out and color.... I love it!  I used R85, 83 and 81 to color them.  The yellows were Y17,15,13,10, and 00, her hair is BC59, E37, 25 and 33.  I used like 5 colors on the water along with two different wink of stella pens to get that shimmer. The papers are from Doodlebug of course and the pop dots are Echo Park Summertime. The dies I used are from Gina Marie.
Ok Krafty People.....
Pull out those fabby stamps and play along! Have some krafty fun and join us this week!!
