Hey Oddies and Sweeties! I'm here today with another card featuring an incredible digital image from
Some Odd Girl! Ok, so I'm actually not a HUGE mermaid fan. I LIKE them, but it's not a big "OMG it's a mermaid I MUST have it or I will surely die," type scenario. With that being said, Kristy has some of the absolute cutest mermaids out there. The one I'm sharing with you today is one of my favorites! Here she is:
She's rightfully named
"Mermaid Queen" given that she is wearing a crown and a lot of other jewelry. Lol! I just picked up a piece of Sweet Sentiment Coloring paper and went to town with my Copic markers! I love orange and rarely see it used in cards, so I decided to use it as a focal point for her tail. Man, I'm sure glad I did, because I totally love how it came out. I used a combination of Nuvo Drops and Stickles and a paint brush to make the ocean foam, added a bunch of flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and Magnolia, I stuck on some enamel dots from Doodlebug design. Boom! Done! The papers are from First Edition and Graphic 45.
Well, as much as I wish I was at the beach hanging out with mermaid royalty, I'm still in Idaho, and it's January and cold.... so I'm going to go make a cup of coffee! See you all soon my friends, Toodles!
