Everyday is a good day….

For a NAP!

I could so cuddle up with this sweet baby bunny and take a long relaxing nap. This adorable little guy is from our Nap Time Stamp Set. After coloring up this cutie, I took our new Twig Mandala Stencil (hasn’t even hit the site yet new) and inked up this fun background using my distress inks.

Make sure to join the Sweet Sentiment Stamps and Friends Facebook Group to watch the live from today if you missed it!

Well I’m off to work on some top secret projects! Have a great night! Toodles!

Other May Release Goodies!

Yesterday was such an amazing day! It was so exciting getting to release our May Stamps, stencils, and yes SWEET SLICES!

We are so excited to announce the we now have coordinating metal dies to go along with our stamps called Sweet Slices. The Sweet Slices perfectly cut out your images (including those itty bitty areas you all know I always fussy cut out). Sweet Slices can be purchased in a bundle or individually.

The Urchin Mandala Stencil is a very unique stencil. Don’t let the name fool you, the options and ways to use this are limitless! Of course you have urchin, but it could be fireworks or starbursts, so many more things! The sky (or the depths of the ocean) is the limit when creating with this fun stencil!

Fan Coral Die & Seaweed Die by Gina Marie Designs were also featured in our release. These deep-sea dies are so versatile they can be used as nearly any type of foliage. Underwater or aboveground, you'll find yourself using these cool botanical dies again and again.

Can’t wait to see all the Mer-mazing creations that everyone comes up with! Toodles!

Grumpy Panda

This little brea is so grumpy it just makes me smile!  Is that mean? lol!!!

Another new Digi from Some Odd Girl today and I cannot tell you how much fun I had with this one. I'm totally having a blast creating slimline cards right now.  I know, I know, I know, it's totally a fad and it will go by the wayside again soon! But, I can have fun with it while it's popular can't I???
Anyways, this little boy/girl it's totally in a bad mood, and I gotta tell you, I was totally feeling the same way yesterday.  I think all of the quarantine and fear in the world today is making me moody.

So, I printed this bear on Sweet Sentiment Coloring paper and colored it with the following Copic markers.
Skin: RV95, E11, E21, E00, E000, R20, E13 (for the freckles)
Hair: E18, E08, YR18, Y17, E31
Eyes: G99, G46, G000 C2, 0 (colorless blender)
Black: C10, C8, C6, C4, C2
White: W2, W1, W0, W00, 0 (colorless blender)
Black multilines pen, white jelly roll pen

I used a piece of Sweet Sentiment Coloring paper and a stencil from Brutus Monroe along with Distress Oxide Inks for the background.  I spritzed it with some water to disturb the perfect lines left by the stencil.  I also used a sentiment from an old retired Whitt and Sass stamp set and some Stickles drops in "Star Dust." I also use foam adhesive squares to pop up the sentiment and the bear.

Okie Dokie my friends, I'm ogg to get another cup of coffee.... I really need it today! Toodles!

Getting a little froggy!

Ut's new release week for Some Odd Girl and I'm here showing off the new digital images!!!!
This release is so much fun because it features a group of kids all dressed up in silly hoodies!  I don't know about you, but my teenager wears a hoodie 24/7, I swear!!!!! It doesn't matter that it's 90 degrees outside, he's ALWAYS in a hoodie!

This image of the little boy int he froggy hoodie I decided to make into a "big head." meaning I enlarged the image so big that it cut the bottom half of it off.  I printed him up on Sweet Sentiment Coloring paper and colored him with the following Copic markers:
Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000, R20
Hair: E27, E57, E23, E34, E31
Tongues: RV95, RV34, RV32, RV00
 Frog eyes: C10, C8, C6, C4, C2
Hoodie: G28, G19, G07, YG09, YG07, YG05, YG01
Eyes: E27, E23, Y02, G000
0 Colorless Blender black Copic Multiliner in .05 and white Jelly Roll pen

The background is made using the NEW Woodland Mandala Stencil from Sweet Sentiment Stamps and a variety of Distress Oxide inks.  After stenciling onto the Sweet Sentiment Coloring Paper, I then spritzed the paper with Lindy's Gang Magicals Spray.  I used a sentiment from The Rabbit Hole Designs, and one from The Greeting Farm, then an A2 scalloped die from Honey Bee Stamps to complete the card.  Oh, and as always, there's a few little Stickles drops in "Star Dust" here and there on the card as well.

I hope you loved this project and I'll see ya back the rest of this week for the other images being release from SOG.

I'm off to refill my coffee mug!  Toodles!

A little Bee

"Hello!"  That's what this little Bee is saying to you all.  Every once in a while I dust off my Faber-Castell Polychromo pencils and give them a go.  Today was that day.  Pencil coloring is just.... neat.
Coloring an image with pencils is so very different.  I find it cathartic at times.  I mean this little guy was 5 layers of pencil coloring on Sweet Sentiment Premium coloring paper.  I love the effect that pencils have on the image.  It's soothing to me to take the time and watch it all develop.

Ok now that you KNOW I'm totally strange.... I used Distress Oxide inks to make the background, also on Sweet Sentiment coloring paper, and an awesome stencil from The Rabbit Hole Designs.  I then used Alphabet dies from Honey Bee stamps to cut out the word, and their A2 scalloped edge card die as well.  I then layered it all up and popped up the letters and the bee (He's from Stampers Delights!) with foam mounting squares.  I finished it off with some awesome ribbon that I found at the Dollar tree like FOREVER ago.

This little Bee just makes me smile, I've made a lot of cards using him, and I still grin every time I color him.  I'm sure you'll see more of him in the future.

I'm buzzing off to get another cup of coffee.  Talk to you all soon! Hugs and Toodles!

Sadness...but not me!

Yeah, so I"m not sad, It's just the name of the character that this stamp was based from.  I just adore her too.... she makes me giggle.... I'm not sure why.  But, her innate ability to turn EVERYTHING into something glum is pretty epic.

This adorable i'mage is from Kindred Stamps and is part of a set called "The Feels."  I colored her up with my Polychormo pencils from Faber Castell and then I popped her on this awesome background. The Background was ink blended with a secret stencil in a few colors of blue Distress Oxide Inks.... I just grabbed a bunch of blues and went to town, so, I can't really tell you which ones I used.  I finished her off with a sentiment from the set as well that I simply head embossed with white embossing powder on black card stock and a ribbon from the doable bin at Michaels.

I'd live to tell you that this was a quick A2 card, but pencil coloring is NEVER quick.  So I'll tell you it was an easy A2 card, and it will be great to send to a friend when that person is feeling a bit down.

Thanks for stopping by today! Big hugs!

I'm off to get another cup of coffee, it's 7 am and I'm not nearly caffeinated enough! Toodles!

A Little Zodiac Mermaid

Hey there Oddies and Sweeties, I have a fun little birthday card to share with you all today.... Zodiac style!  Check it out:

I used the Pisces digital image from Some Odd Girl and colored her up with Copic markers.

The background is made using the Sweet Sentiment Mandala Stencil and a few colors of Distress Oxide Inks.  I used a stamp from The Rabbit Hole Designs and some black WOW Embossing powder on a piece of vellum to make the sentiment. Then I added some Nuvo drops and a little satin ribbon to complete the card.  I also used some foam squares to pop up the little mermaid to add a little dimension to the project.  Here's a side view for you to see.

Ok, I really hope that you all love this little card and I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend!
I'm off to grab another cup of coffee, toodles!

This new stencil is called "Twisted Sunshine" and I'm totally in live with it!  I just stared grabbing Oxide Inks and sponge daubers and blending my little heart out.... it's soooo cool!  I added a fed Nuvo drops too, because, well, you guys should know me by now! hahahahah!!!!

I May Need More Coffee

Hey there friends!  Today is Wednesday..... that means I for sure need more coffee! Ha ha ha!  Yesterday I did a little color along live in the Sweet Sentiment Gorup, so I figured today I'd add that Image to a card so you could all see the finish product!  Here's a link to the video in gas you'd like to watch the replay: https://www.facebook.com/jammie.clark.731/videos/374182133189241/

I colored her up using Copic markers on Copic X-Press it paper.  I then used a piece of watercolor paper to create the Distress Oxide background.  I used three colors of red and blended them in a gradient style to create the base, then I spritzed that with water and used a tissue to remove the excess water.  After that I laid a stencil over the top and used Ground Espresso Distress Oxide ink to make the pattern.  I stamped the sentiment (from Ink Road Stamps) with Ink on 3 Clear embossing ink and used Nuvo Hot Chocolate embossing powder to make it pop.  I added a few half pearls for a bit of dimension and there you have it!

Hope you love this little coffee addicted cutie as much as I do! Have a wonderful day, and may your coffee be stronger than your desire to g back to bed! Ha ha ha! Tootles!
