Why be ordinary….

 When you can be Legendary!

Can we talk about how awesome the new Legendary Stamp Set from the new June Release is? This Sasquatch is so lovable and fun! I mean how can you not love a Yeti that enjoys hot coffee (or hot cocoa for all you weirdos out there). You’re going to fall in love with this fuzzy guy and find that he is a super fun and versatile character for a variety of cards and projects.

Well I am off to go play an awesome game of hide and seek with the world champion… sort of… I’m going to try to find my long lost coffee cup! Toodles!

Drink Coffee…. Always!

Can we talk about these incredible ruffles and pleats!

This afternoon I went live to color the amazing Drink Coffee Stamp Set in the Sweet Sentiment Stamps and Friends Facebook group. It was an absolute blast to color these ruffles and pleats. One of the coolest things is watching this dress come together and just pop off the page in the end!

Not only is the image from this stamp set stunning, it is filled with some incredibly snarky and fun sentiments. So go “Drink coffee and pretend you know what you’re doing”! Toodles!

Ahhhh.... Coffee

Ok, it's no secret how much I enjoy my coffee.  We all know this, and we all can relate.... well most of us.  But, with all that's going on in the world today, coffee is such a tiny thing that helps me get my focus back.  Chemical Dependance be damned!

I colored this image with my Copic markers after printing her out on Sweet Sentiment Coloring Paper. I Aldo used Sweet Sentiment Paper and A Tim Holtz stencil with Distress Oxide inks to make the background.  Then the DSP back there behind it all is from Unity Stamps.  I can't tell you how much I love coloring this image.  I've used her a few times on cards int he past and I just keep going back to her.  The sentiment is from one of my Sweet Sentiment stamp sets called Coffee Plans.

Thank you all for stopping by today.  I sure hope all of this craziness ends soon.  But, until then, I have my cup of sanity.... oh wait, it's empty... time for a refill.... Toodles!

A rainbow of coffee

Good morning Sweeties!!!!! Here's to a wonderful weekend!  I've given you a few sneak peeks of this card on social media, but now it's time to reveal the whole thing to you! I'm so excited!

I used the brand new Coffee Planner stamp set from Sweet Sentiment Stamps to make this card! You can purchase it by clicking HERE.

here's a side view of the card so you can see that I popped up some of the girls with their coffee to add detention to the card.  I simply used little foam adhesive squares to achieve this.

To make this card, all I did was stamp the images from the set 2 each using Moment Desert Sand ink. I colored each in with my trusty Copic markers in various colors of the rainbow.  I then used my Cutter Bee scissors to fussy cut each image.  I set those all aside to make the background.
(Yeah, I used just a few markers.)

I simply cut a piece of Sweet Sentiment coloring paper to 4" x9" and masked off the edges using purple tape.  then I pulled out all of my Distress Oxide Inks and went to town,  I chose 3 colors (shadow, midtown and highlight) from each color of Oxide Ink to create a gradient left to right, and a rainbow vertically.  I spritzed with water and then let that set for about 30 seconds to give the ink time to react to the water.  After that I used a paper towel to remove the access water.  Then I chose my sentiment and put that in my Misti to stamp.  I used Versafine black ink to stamp the sentiment directly over the Distress Oxide background.  (Yeah, this was nerve wracking.... wow! hahaha!)

I adhered it to a piece of black yardstick to Matt it, and then to the card base.... I attached the little girls with their coffee on top of their appropriate color of ink, and BOOM! Finished!

I'm in love with how this card came out!  I adore vibrant colors and this has all of that.  I did make a second set of them to stick in my planner, because, well, this IS a planner set after all... Here's a peek at that:

Hope you enjoyed this fun post about the coffee planner set!  I sure had fun working with this set.  I cannot wait to see what you all make with it!  Have a wonderful weekend, I'm off to get another cup of coffee!!! Ha ha ha!  Toodles!

More than doughnuts!

It takes a lot for me to love someone more than doughnuts.... but I'm pretty sure this stamp is the perfect example of that.

This adorable little squirrel is so happy to have this tiny doughnut and tell you just how much he loves it and you.  Gosh he just makes me smile!  I adore him.

I stamped him with Momento desert sand ink onto Sweet Sentiment Card Stock and colored him up with copic markers. I Thun used a bunch of papers from Doodlebug (the Cream and sugar set) and I made flowers using Heartfelt creations stamps and dies (these are oak berry lane flowers I believe).

Thank you all for stoping by, you can purchase this stamp here: https://www.therabbitholedesigns.com/product-page/more-than-donuts-4x4

His expression just cracks me up so much!  I mean, LOOK at him!  I decided to make him into a Christmas card by coloring heavy on the red and green and changing his sentiment a bit.  I used the script font from the "Love You More" set.  I'm still giggling at this silly pup.

Day Three of TRHD release!

Ok, so you've made it to the last post I have for the Rabbit Hole Designs Release!  Woohooo!!!! Thank you so much for being a part of this new and exciting chapter in my life.  Here's the last project I have (for this release).

Remember yesterday how I said that I LOVED TRHD stencils!  Well.... here's yet another one to love:
This is called "Light me up stencil" and can be purchased here!  I love love love love love that it is strings of lights in different sizes and that it also has snowflakes!  I mean, all my Christmas decorating is right here on one stencil!!! Kudos to TRHD for this one!

So, I stenciled up the side of a piece of Sweet Sentiment paper and then had NO CLUE what to do wit it!  I love the stencil, but ..... crap, what am I going to do????? OH WAIT!  I pulled out the silly Caffeinated Reindeer from TRHD and colored him up using Sweet Sentiment Paper and Copic markers. I fussy cut him out and thought.... well it still needs more.  So, I pulled out the Glossy Accents and made the lights glossy.... and then it hit me.... the Coffee Molecule on the stamp set would make PERFECT snowflakes.  so I stamped and embossed the molecule all over the back with iridescent embossing powder.  Then I used a few foam squares to pop the reindeer up, and BOOM! Christmas card perfection! Hahahahaha.... I can't help it, you all know how much I love my coffee!

I hope this little card inspires you today and maybe you'll be so inspired you make a card of your own.  Thank you all for hanging out with my the last three days and for commenting on my blog.  It really does mean the world to me!  Hope you all have an awesome week.  See you soon! Toodles!

TRHD New release day 1

Well, hello there, I see you've hopped over here to see the new release from The Rabbit Hole Designs.  Well, welcome!

I'm here to show you my new cards from he release and hopefully inspire you to go purchase those awesome stamps and get to crafting!  Here's the first set....
This set is called "Love you more - Christmas frost, and is available In the shop through this link:

Oh my gosh you guys!!!! This set is soooo stinking cute!  I mean, how can you even resist this?  It makes some adorable and even quick Christmas or Holiday cards for pretty much anyone you can think of.  My first card was made using the little couple decorating the Christmas tree.... here ya go:
I created a little scene for them.  it just felt like they were standing in their living room (with their posh wallpaper) trying to get that star on top of the tree.  I'm thinking they are newlyweds and that is why they do not have simple things like... ohhh.... a stepladder or window coverings..... hahahah!
(This image was colored with Copic markers on Sweet Sentiment coloring paper. The DSP is from Doodlebug designs and the Ribbon is from the Craft Warehouse.)

The second card I modified the stamp a little bit for, here, take a look:
I stamped the one where the couple is shopping, but I didn't ink up the little guy, just the girl.  I figured she was off Christmas shopping and in serious need of a coffee.... but she spent all of her money on gifts.  Such a bummer.  So now, she's wondering how to get a coffee.... the sentiment was also modified to read "all I want for Christmas is Coffee." Sounds legit to me.  I'd be stoked if I got a bunch of coffee gift cards for Christmas, "it's the gift that keeps on giving, Clark, the whole year through." (name that movie!!!)
(This image was colored using Copic markers on Sweet Sentiment coloring paper. The DSP is from Unity Stamp Company.  Wow! Embossing Powder was used for the sentiment along with a white and silver Jelly Roll pen for accents.  Tonic Studio Nuvo drops were also used for the corner accents.)

Thank you all for stopping by, I hope I made you smile and I hope that I gave you a little spark of inspiration on how to use these stamps.  Thanks so much! Hugs to you all and see ya back here tomorrow for more new stuff!  Toodles!!!

I May Need More Coffee

Hey there friends!  Today is Wednesday..... that means I for sure need more coffee! Ha ha ha!  Yesterday I did a little color along live in the Sweet Sentiment Gorup, so I figured today I'd add that Image to a card so you could all see the finish product!  Here's a link to the video in gas you'd like to watch the replay: https://www.facebook.com/jammie.clark.731/videos/374182133189241/

I colored her up using Copic markers on Copic X-Press it paper.  I then used a piece of watercolor paper to create the Distress Oxide background.  I used three colors of red and blended them in a gradient style to create the base, then I spritzed that with water and used a tissue to remove the excess water.  After that I laid a stencil over the top and used Ground Espresso Distress Oxide ink to make the pattern.  I stamped the sentiment (from Ink Road Stamps) with Ink on 3 Clear embossing ink and used Nuvo Hot Chocolate embossing powder to make it pop.  I added a few half pearls for a bit of dimension and there you have it!

Hope you love this little coffee addicted cutie as much as I do! Have a wonderful day, and may your coffee be stronger than your desire to g back to bed! Ha ha ha! Tootles!

I like big cups....

...and I cannot lie, you other brothers can't deny.....
Ummm.... ok, I better stop right there... he he he! In the interest of not offending anyone I'll cease my singing and go on about the crafting! Probably a good plan huh?

Well, the day is upon us... it's SATURDAY! I sorta HATE Saturdays to be perfectly honest.... I feel lost for things to do and I feel like I gotta entertain my family and be... you know... a productive member of society.  I'm perfectly happy on any given week day, sitting in my craft room, just coloring away and singing along with Maroon 5 or something similar (and by similar I mean something completely random that i'm not going to admit to so I won't put it in writing). On the bright side though, Saturday means another Saturday Challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps! Now there's something I can get excited about!  So.... Guess what? I'm the HOSTESS this week, meaning that I got to CHOOSE THE THEME! Woot woot! Can ya guess what I chose? Uh huh!
YOUA RE CHALLENGED TO USE A RETIRED STAMP!
There's been so much buzz lately about all of the older retired KKS images that I thought it would be fun to see ya ya got!  So dust off those old rubbers girls and get to crafting.  Here's the one I chose to use..... (please refer to the song above.... hehehehehe I know ya wanna sing it!) :
This is normally where i'd list for you the Copic markers that I used to color this image, but I was so excited when I colored it that I forgot to make a note of what I used. so.... immmm... yeah.
The papers are from Doodlebug as are the enamel dots and the coffee cup paperclip.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The ribbon is from Recollections.
The Die I used is from Gina Marie Dies.
...and the image.... oh that wonderful image is a girl after my own heart, her name is "I like big cups" from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps.

Ok, so go forth my crafty peeps and get inking up those retired stamps.  I can't wait to see what you make!  Please be sure to post your creations in the Krafty Friends FB group and don't forget to enter them in the contest on the KKS Blog.  Me? Yeah I'm heard out to get a cup of coffee.... what can I say? I love that stuff! Delicious! Tootles!
